A Springmaid Watermedia Workshop Alternative

Those of us who used to attend these marvelous gatherings know the benefit of dedicating a week to nurture our talents and network with fellow creatives  I hope you’ll read this brochure and take advantage of what is sure to be a beautiful gathering…

Two Sessions:

Fall Session 2018

  • Sunday 11/4/18 Set up/Meet and Greet

  • Studio time Mon-Fri (11/5 thru11/9)

  • Daily demos

  • 2 scheduled critiques

 Spring Session 2019

  • 3/24/19 Set up/Meet and Greet

  • Studio time Mon-Fri (3/25 thru 3/29) with daily demos and 2 scheduled critiques

 

Come and play at the ocean’s edge with fellow artists for 5 days of productive fun and fellowship.

Amenities include:

  • A very large and well lit studio

  • Access to Studio into the evening

  • 8 ft tables

  • An ocean view from the studio

  •  Easy “same level unloading” from beneath covered parking

  • Plenty of light

  • Large teaching mirror availalbe for critique and sharing

  • On Site Oceanfront Lodging available (not included)

  • Restaurants and Starbucks on site @ Long Bay Resort

  • Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, SC with great restaurants within walking distance

Springmaid Watermedia Workshops are no longer being held in Myrtle Beach, but we can still gather for the purpose of making art and networking.  Plans include:

  • Daily sharing of methods and materials

  • 2 scheduled critiques

  • Rebecca Zdybel will host and facilitate

  • Instruction will be on a volunteer basis by participants at the end of each day.  If you are an instructor with something to share, contact Rebecca upon registration.

**Note that meals and food are not included.
**Instruction will not be outlined in advance or mandatory for you to attend, but time will be set aside daily with a teaching mirror available.  This time should allow those who wish to share to do so.
**(BYOB will be allowed in studio after 4pm and during lectures)

Cost: $300 If registered before Sept 1st, 2018.  After that date, cost is $400.
